To Change the World...

How might you use something you learned this week to change the world for the better?

If we were to get everyone who is worried about technology to use some in their daily life, not a lot but some, we could make some contact be easier.  That could help people communicate when they are in danger or when they need someone to pick up milk on their way home.  A phone might be easier, but if we could get people who are not convinced with the use of tech to start using it then we could start to, if they were a teacher, get more tech into classrooms and, if they were not a teacher, just get the general  knowledge and use of tech.  In the long run if everything goes electronic the people who don't use tech could be in bad shape, so it is better that people know how to use tech now instead of later.

Some Writingo.....

My favorite part of this week so far has been being able to learn about a lot of tech.  My favorite tech was using cell phones for polls.  I will still use cell phones, twitter, blogs, wiki, and a bunch more tech that we have learned about.  I would tell my past self about all the cool stuff that happens in the future, and about the climate problems.  I think the biggest challenge for my generation will be dealing with the economic crisis and Global Warming.  I am going to help by recycling, using Earth-friendly products and cutting back on things that I buy.

"Leaving My Mark"

  1. A piece of acid-free paper--My time is not as soon as you think.
  2. Journal stored in a attic--This journal holds the keys to the Universe.
  3. In stone--The sun will come up tomorrow.
  4. Blog--"Children should be seen and not spanked or grounded"
  5. In water--I'm going to make a movie.
  6. Graffiti--Sol told me that Mac was here.
  7. Newspaper--I finally made it into a newspaper.
  8. Speak out loud--Truth will always find its way.

Online vs. Real Reading

I think that reading online is could be a way that trees could stop being wasted.  I don't read online, but I think that it would be a good idea to start using a Kindle.  I would prefer to read a "real" book than read online, but I am open to reading online.  I think that people will someday do more virtual reading than "real' reading, but for now books are here to stay.  Nick's analogy is a good way ffor me to understand the way of the reading material.

Did You Know 2.0

Twitter (Twittero)

Twitter is a really cool site (except when it wont let you create an account).  I would and will use Twitter to have fun and get in touch with people.  You should be careful about people who can look at all of your posts.

Wildo Cardo Posto

In this post I will talk about anything I want to. So......... here goes nothing.  No really nothing. I can't think of anything to say, so I'm saying nothing.  Nothing at all.  Of course by me saying nothing I am saying something so this post wasn't a complete waste, and that's all.

Summero Planso

For my summer fun I am going to a lot of camps, and I hope to go on a trip to somewhere.  Preferably Bald Head Island.

I wanto to know/learno thiso weeko

I want to work on my blog (like I am now), make a wiki, twitter, have fun, and listen to funny stories.  I want to learn all about tech and how it is developing and how it is taking over the world.

How I use technology in my everyday life

-Computer
-TV
-Phone
-iPod
-Video Games
-TiVo
-E-mail

I use all of these a lot.
